what is stock market?
A stock market or equity market is a public (a loose network of economic transactions, not a physical facility or discrete) entity for the trading of company stock (shares) and derivatives at an agreed price; these are securities listed on a stock exchange as well as those only traded privately!!(:
In short, it is a market that keeps track of and sells countable numbers of "controlling interests" in any traded company. These "controlling interests" measure financial contribution and therefore monetary return on such an investment. Most brokers buy interests in companies they think will succeed, and then sell those interests for a higher price - simply to make profit, and not to effect the company's business processes. There are public markets and private ones.
