7/10+5/8+7/20= and how

10, 8 and 20 all have the number 40 in common 10 x 4 = 40 8 x 5 = 40 20 x 2 = 40 then multiply the numerator the same way you did its denominator 7 x 4 = 28 5 x 5 = 25 7 x 2 = 14 then rewrite your equation with your new fractions 28/40 + 25/40 + 14/20 then add the numerators 28+25+14 = 67 new fraction is 67/40 then simplify mixed fraction answer is 1 37/40 I might be wrong but thats how i'd solve it....

my bad mixed fraction answer is 1 27/40... but yup thats long hand how to solve that one
