Can someone please help me with this problem like i dnt get it and i need someone to explain it to me. Find the ratio of the area of triangle XBY to the area of triangle ABC for the given measurements, if XY l l AC XY = 2, AC = 3 i have 9:4 as the asnwer but it seem not to be correct cansomeone explain it to me

XY = 2, AC = 3. The ratio of the lengths is 2/3, so the ratio of the area is 22/32 = ? its 4/9 not 9/4 i think. pretty sure :)
