it can cause excessive sweating and vomiting, it is a major component in acid rain,it can cause severe burns in its gaseous state, accidental inhalation can kill you, it contributes to erosion,it decreases effectiveness of automobile brakes, it has been found in tumors of terminal cancer patients .

Here's another one then.....

A guy is trying to persuade some confirmed drunkards to give up drinking. He feels that rather than lecturing them he would convince them by showing a demonstration.

So he gets them all into the lab. Here he takes four beakers and pours equal amounts of water into them. Then into the first beaker he adds some whisky, into the second beaker he adds an equal amount of rum, into the third equal amount of vodka, and into the fourth same amount of gin.

Then he makes four rats drink the four mixtures and puts them in a maze with electrified plates forming the walls. All the four repeatedly touch the walls and all die after a while. This was supposed to show the evil effect of alcohol.

He now asks the drunkards what lesson they have learnt from the demonstration. In one voice they all answer "ONE SHOULD AVOID WATER".

The guy is shocked and asks why they say so. They say that water was the common component in all the four mixtures and was responsible for the death of the four rats !!!!!! ☺
