The drama club is staging a play. With 6 men and 8 women auditioning for the leading male and female roles, how many ways can the director cast his leading couple?

8*6= 48 ways i think.. for every man in leading role there are 8 candidates for the female role.. so this makes 8 combinations.. and for 6 men ...6*8 = 48 combinations :)
