1/2= 14/6x-2 - 6/3x-1

is that 1/2=14/(6x-2)-6/(3x-1)
if so, then:

1=14/(3x-1)-12/(3x-1) (multiplied both sides by 2)
1=2/(3x-1)
3x-1=2
x=1
