prof lewin has asked a ques in his lecture that what will be the time required for projectile to cover the motion along x-axis when angle of projection is 90 degrees...according to me it should be infinite is it correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is correct; if the projectile shoots straight up it has no horizontal motion and will never travel sideways. (Bear in mind that infinity is a concept, not a number.)
