One can apply a similar process to improving in any skill: practice will lead to progress and greater confidence in the action. Math may come easier to you because you know the rules and how to come to the solution of a problem. What kind of challenges do you have in writing----is it grammar rules, vocabulary, or sentence structures? Keep writing daily and read your sentences aloud. Sometimes you can catch if the writing has mistakes when you hear it out loud. Hope this helps! You can always post some writing here, and people will give you friendly feedback.
