no solve it like this (x)(x+12)=85 because the two in the brackets are length and width and area equal to length*breadth
and btw the ans. is 5 and 17

wow your smart lol ; how about this one :P the length of a rectangle plus its width is 24cm the area is 143 square cm ; what is teh length and width ; do you plug in numbers as well ?
