If the equations y-2x=9 and -2s+L=9 were graphed on the same set of coordinate axes, what would the point of intersection describe?

I think you can't graph these two lines in one coordinate system. Because 1st line is in xy plane, but 2nd line is in Ls plane.

Two numbers have a sum of 18. If the small number doubled, and then subtracted from the larger number, the difference is 9. X represents the smaller number, Y represents the biggest number. Write an equation to model the difference of the numbers.
