If I'm correct then this problem should be done like this? 24 > 10 – 2x Solve using the addition and multiplication principles. Be sure to show all of your work. 24 - 24 + 2x > 10 – 24 combine like terms 2x > -14 2x / 2 > -14/2 divide by 2 x > -7 Check: Using 1 24 > 10 – 2x = 24> 10 – 2(1) multiply by 1 = 24 > 8
