Go to the board I just did  three different ones as examples for you as follow:
interval notation
example a.
x ≤ 5
The reference point is x = 5, which will contain a solid point, and the line will go to the left.
example b.
x > 2
The reference point is x = 2, which will contain a hollow point, and the line will go to the right.

example c.
-4 ≤ x < 1
The reference points are x = -4 (solid point) and 1 (hollow point), and the line extends between.
