nice find LB. have ERIC on laptop as replacement for IDLE (think is for linux only) and like some things about it (like one screen for shell and window). also...found this http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=657799 this custom theme for IDLE makes it very nice to use.

i too have ERIC and IDLE both on my ubuntu..and there is one called PIDA too... and the link for theme is nice :D...the theme is cool too :)

Lol, so you guys use Ubuntu too? I dual-boot it on my laptop. Had both Eric and SPE installed, but later on, I decided on Eric. It somehow looks 'sleeker' than SPE.

I haven't ever used Ubuntu. I use Suse on laptop and Slackware on desktop. But the Ubuntu forums always have lots of good information. BTW, i really really love Slackware.

and i never used anything other than xp and ubuntu :'( and kubuntu :'(.. fedora never sends me a disc :(
