If f(x)=x-5/2 and g(x)=x^2-2x then g(f(-1))=

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first find g(f(x)), which is obtained by substituting f(x) in place of x in the equation x^2-2x. Then reduce the terms and substitute -1 for x!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or find f(-1) and put that value in g(x).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you know what? thats a much simpler way of doing it!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So solve for f(-1) which comes out to -7/2 and then what do you mean by put it in g(x)
