I beg to differ. Literally the best source for knowledge on the internet. The science pages and most of the history pages are written by PhD students, and as a result they have a pretty comprehensive explanation of the topic. But if you want I'll help you find something better. What kind of Indians are you talking about here? If you mean India the country, they have a MASSIVE history. Specifically which period in time? Pre political integration? Pre colony? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_India Here is the wiki page. Remember it is full of references, so for more in depth detail you can click on the citation and read it.

That is why I say Wikipedia is not so good site if would have been an indian u would understand that the words and the language used is very difficult
