Can someone pls give me 2-3 examples of equations where only reduction takes place without oxidation taking place. OR Will it always be a redox reaction???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it must always be a redox rxn. if one is oxidised the other must be reduced. one is the concequence of another.

Thanks for confirming what I knew/felt. However, someone insisted that there can be pure reduction reaction..... Medal for you !!☺
