I am posting a physics question though in the maths section. Is metallic wire carrying current charged or electrically neutral? Justify.
my guess is that it is charged ....
how to justify? just stick your fingers into an electrical outlet maybe :)
But our teacher told that it is neutral, though I am not sure. Anyway, thanks a lot. Plz post the reason if u get so.
without having an expansive knowledge base in physics, that was just my best guess. ... in other words, im prone to error ;)
I am also, I think. Anyway, can u do me a favour? I have uploaded an essay on "Fashion" on scribd. Will u read it and ask others to do so?
Wire is electrically neutral. If you want to get charge from wire, you must use a tension. If you will touch the wire alone (which is not connected to the voltage source) you wont feel the charge. Condenser can carry charge.
I have answered this question of yours in the Physics section... Pls go there and see the answer/explanation why the wire is electrically neutral...
