Just glancing at it you'll be using rectangles 2 boxes wide which are 4. The ys should be similar being 2 per box. For the lower sums, look to the left intersection point of the rectangles. For the upper sums, find where the rectangle meets the line on the right. Sum the areas of the rectangles.

The same works for the 10 rectangles except they are 1 box wide instead of 2 boxes wide.
