Evaluate the integral by interpreting it in terms of areas. http://www.webassign.net/cgi-bin/symimage.cgi?expr=%20int_%28-6%29%5E0%20%285%2Bsqrt%2836-x%5E2%29%29dx%20

Maybe try a trig substitution?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmm..do you have an answer by any chance?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yucky. Calculator spat out an answer of \[9\pi+30\] If you tried to do this by hand, you'd have to do some icky inverse trig integrals and some stuff with uv substitution.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no @jabberwork u cannot do uv in integration put x = 6 cos teta now do substitution method take dx and change into d teta change limits it is over

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ur answer will be 58.274

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah, good call.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wow! well done amingad!! :) Thanks a lot you saved me there
