How to measure the sound energy released by the PC speakers?

Please mention a creative method. I don't have access to any Watt-meter or such apparatus! :(

well, you could use microphone, attached to a cct with say a bulb attached, as the sound increases it will glow brighter...sorry I couldn't think of anything else without using some kind of electronic measuring device. HTH
