How can we generate High frequency pulses,( time gap between pulses < 1 millisecond) from microcontrollers ?

OR is there any other electronic component which can be used ?

you could use a simple 555 timer IC for this application. This is actually very easy to implement on a micro-controller by toggling the output on any port pin with the help of a timer. A for loop with timing corresponding to 1ms implemented in your code would serve the purpose.
