During 1954, in New Mexico desert, the airforce conducted an experiment to determine the maximum acceleration that a human body can endure. During the experiment the scientist John Stapp was brought to stop 632[mph] within 1.25[s] and survived. Determine what his acceleration was.

acceleration is defined as m/s^2 or ft/s^2 the latter is less common... which one do you need?

in any rate i'll go with most common 632 miles 1 hour 1 min 5280ft 1m --------- x ------ x ------ x ------ x ------- = 282.6m/s 1 hour 60 mins 60 sec 1 mile 3.28 ft. 282.6m/s x 1/1.25s = 226.08 m/s^2

m/s^2
