A
OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):
how & y?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
There are no restrictions on the domain, except that x is a real number. Plug in any real value for x and it is always defined. If you plug in an imaginary number, the second term becomes imaginary, giving an imaginary answer. Therefore, A is the correct answer.

myininaya (myininaya):
you have a polynomial
polynomials are continuous everywhere
so the domain of any polynomial is all real numbers
in interval notation that would be (-inf,inf)
OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):
Lol, no actually i forgot how to do these Range & Domain probs.
OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):
so which one is the Ans?
myininaya (myininaya):
A.
all real numbers
OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):
Thnks ALOT.

I never posted on that one haha, I was just replying here because I didn't see the other one.
myininaya (myininaya):
this function is continous everywhere except when the bottom=0
so set the bottom =0 and solve for x
this x is what you exclude from the domain
so we have 3-7x=0
3=7x
x=3/7
all real numbers except 3/7
