How do you graph Ax+By=C form? what do you put on the x and y axis?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im pretty sure this is slope som if you have numbers for x and y you plug that into where the a and b are

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can use this form to your advantage to just plot x and y intercepts. x- intercept put y = 0 get \[Ax=C\] \[x=\frac{C}{A}\] so you know \[(\frac{C}{A},0)\] is on the graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

likewise you find y - intercept by setting x = 0 get \[By=C\] \[y=\frac{C}{B}\] so the point \[(0,\frac{C}{B})\] is also on the graph. then you are pretty much done
