The main them of the theory of calculus
what is the theory of calulus all about
the fundamental theorem of calculus?
Calclulus can be divided into to parts: Differentiation, and Integration
yeah the fundemental theorem of calulus. I have a test on Wednesday about it and, indefinte integral and the substitution method, as well as finding the area between curves. Basically all of chp 5 in my book, i have studied the first 3 sections, but i still have those three sections to study
would any of you guys know some main things that i need to know before i take this test
the fundamental theorum says that derivatives and integrals undo each other and when u do an integral u get a displacement
okay
that not very helpful
got any good websites that explain these topics in a clear and quick way
lol math is indefinate so there really isnt any cheats to it that can b told over the internet. as for websites i dont kno any of the top of my head but u would have better luck if u post as a new question
For finding the area between two curves, you'd better practice and make sure that you're comfortable with getting the correct graph for your problems and ordering them correctly (top minus bottom, vs. left minus right),, substitution method.....all I can say is practice, practice, practice. You can pretty much bet it'll be one of those wicked ones that she puts on the test...like the strange looking one with stuff under a square in the denominator and some factor of x in the numerater. You haven't seen the worst of it yet, ugh,, wait till you get to Trig Sub.
oh,, and the correct bounds for your area between curves probs,, practice, practice, practice!
