6(z+8)=-8z-2
go get 'em evil
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
well?
boogy man, whts eay!
wasy*
easy*
6(z+8)=-8z-2 1)Distribute the 6 to (z + 8) = 6z + 48 = -8z - 2 2)Bring -8z to the other side by adding 8z: 6z + 8z + 48 = -2 3)Bring +48 to the other sside by substracting it.: 6z + 8z = -50 4)Add like terms: 14z = 50 5) Divide by 14 on both sides and you should get your answer. Dont forget to simplify! :))
Distribute, add, group like terms, isolate varible, solve for variable. In that order, and you are done.
Thanks Kat
\[6(z+8)=8z+2\] \[6x+48=8z+2\] \[48-2=8z-6z\] \[46=2z\] \[\frac{48}{2}=z\] \[24=z\] all gory details spelled out
except that is was \[6(z+8)=8z-2\]\ so my answer is wrong. should be \[2z=50\] \[z=25\]
there is also a negative sign in front of the 8z
then i should retire
lol...na. Chalk it up to 'it's just one of those days'...we all have them :)
