In the figure below, ΔABC is an isosceles triangle with vertex angle C and segment CD is tangent to the circle. If angle ACD measures 80 degrees, which is the measure of arc AB? Answer 30 degrees 35 degrees 45 degrees 40 degrees

40 Degrees why? Because when you look at the picture, ACD is congrunent to BCD (If tangent D kept going- not stopping at point C.) That gives us that b.c ACD = 80 BCD has to equal 80 as well. Then we add 80+80 = 160 and sunbstract that by 180 (degree of the line) = 20. However we need to find teh arc measurement, so we have to DOUBLE 20 which =s 40
