I have a question how would I write this as a word equation? The Girl Scouts are having their annual cookie sale. Emily sells 5 boxes of cookies each day. After 7 days, Emily still has 18 boxes left to sell. How many boxes of cookies did Emily have at first?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let A equal the original amount. A - 5(7) = 18 I think so, at least. I'm a little distracted.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, actually, that should be it. xP
