I think it's zero... because 1-1=0, and if the numerator is zero, then the whole fraction is zero. But for some of the fractions, 0 is the denominator... maybe you're allowed to ignore it until you finish the problem, like in calc when the limit is zero.

yeah, but the variable is on the bottom, with a zero on the top. if you put nothing into 1-x groups, you'll still have nothing.
