Can You name me some American academic journals regarding to the social sciences?

Google High Impact Social Science Journals first. Second Be more specific is it Economics? Sociology? there are different Journals for each Discipline and what type of Social Science more Qauntative Methods or Qualitative considerations. Both are valid and both are passionately debated as to their relative worth.
I would add who are the leading Academics in the your Field, leading Institutions. There are KEY questions to answer that will help answer your question, questions.

My guess from your Subjects is lots of controversy and lots of debates. So enjoy. I know Kings College does War Studies which might be worth looking into as it's the only Instittuion doing it, then LSE for Religion a woman there is doing something. Have fun!
Always look for who are the prominent Scholars in your Fields and Departments and Institutions. This also helps you track Journal Material for which you only need access!! (I rely on google Scholar and take what the flutter I can!!!)
