satellite i need ur help!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

put x = number of tickets ron sells. then kathy must sell 24 - x total cost of rons is \[3x\] and of kathy's is \[5.5(24-x)\] and this must equal 87 so put \[3x+5.5(24-x)=87\] solve for x
