1. If the slope of a line is already known, what else is needed in order to create an equation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a point on the line, this allows you to work out the constant - vertical translation of the line.

OpenStudy (radar):

y=mx+b if slope is known (m) then the y intercept b would be required to solve for y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

slope point say (1,2) another point (x,y) you get y=mx+c
