I have this issue on my laptop.. It's saying "0% available(plugged in, not charging)" I googled the problem and found some solutions but it's still not working. Does the BIOS of my laptop have something to do with this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

may be but first remove your battery and again plug it into and then check if the problem is still there

If you plug out your laptop, does it run the length that it would on a full charge? If not, then your battery is the issue and you'll need a new one.

If it's an older laptop, check the battery contacts to make sure they haven't oxidized. This would affect both the battery itself and the contacts where the battery seats.

there can be a problem with your charger , so check it also.

It's either that the Li-ION battery got old and needs to be changed. Or that the battery got lose. Pull your battery out clean the terminals and then replug. turn on computer again. If it doesn't help try twice. Mine became Okay after the 2nd time. So do try Multiple Times. Otherwise Contact customer care. :/
