180-35=145 since the +ve values of sin are in the 2nd quadrant sin 145=sin35

I can tell you that some knowledge of the unit circle is required to ge that or else a calculator would be needed. 35 degrees on the unit circle is 7(Pi)/36...sin=opp/hyp...so basicly when you solve an angle using sin the hyp is always one, which is the radius of the angle on the unit circle, the resulting answer of 0.5736 represents the opp which if you are familar with the unit circle is nothing more than Y.
