CRYTEK > ALL OTHER GAME MACHINES

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Great educational question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Very good information. I didn't know that Crytek was a 'game machine', I thought it was a game developing company. Silly me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its an engine if I'm not mistaken.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No it's not. It's clearly a 'game machine'. Now, if anyone can enlighten me as to what a 'game machine' is....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I thought them game machines were them Nintendo Boy Stations things

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh that. So now they're called 'game machines', huh? Us old timers used to call them game consoles. Ah, good ol' days.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u guys understand me wrong lol, mean that The game machine that Crytek's founders developed is better then all other game machines, that many companies uses it... they made brillions of dollars with this game machine ^^ the thing good with this ge is that, it makes everything more little so that, u can make people play on giant maps in the mean time, ^^ bla bla bla...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

also its calculations are great...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Fail troll is fail.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just its about my english, not game machine, i mean game engine* sorry for that mistkate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How about Unreal? Or Source? I'm fairly certain more games have used those than the Crytek engine.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well , Crytek's engine has a better performance and little output, just play Crysis, and then the games which used unreal or source, you will see the difference and performance difference...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh no doubt, Korcan; But remember this is an engine that was developed much more recently than Unreal and Source. Plus you have to consider how easy it is to develop with and implement the engine with your game.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea, but anyway, the giant companies like EA games, have thousends of employee to work, so its not the main point :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Unreal engine was build by a small company at the time, and the creators of Source, Valve, only have a few employees.
