Common denominator of 4-i and i. I think this question is simple but I didn't get the answer I should've.

4i+1 is one possible one. Another possibility is to multiply the first term by the conjugate 4+i and the second by i. This will completely remove the i's from the denominator.

I wasn't aware I had to remove the imaginary numbers.

After all the imagianry numbers are removed, how would I subtract then?
