Hi, I'm stuck on a problem involving finding limits (in undefined form). Here's the problem: lim delta x -->0 2(x + delta x) - 2x / delta x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x--> = to -4x2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Carry out the numerator (I'm assuming that is all part of the numerator, maybe I am wrong) and find it to be--> 2x + 2delta x - 2x = 2delta x so lim delta x--> 2delta x/delta x = 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes you were right it was part of the numerator. Okay, thanks.
