Here's another question involving limits: Use a graphing utility to graph the function and estimate the limit. Use a table to reinforce your conclusion. Then find the limit by analytic methods. lim x --> 16 4 - square root of x ------------------- x - 16 (I've already solved it and got 1/16, but I'm stuck on how you would go about estimating it, and using a table.)

you have to plug in vaules taht are close to where the the funtion is undefinied, both from the left and from the right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so -16, would be where it is undefined at the left and 4 would be from the right correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right so make a table adn get as close asn possible to 16 and 4 and then you will be able to calculate the limit

ok thank.
