HERE WE GO!!
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I AM AN INTEGRAL! lolz anyway..
velocity is the integral of acceleration..
OpenStudy (anonymous):
lmaoooo yes sir, that you are.

Sorry got an urgent call from the derivative.. soo
OpenStudy (anonymous):
V(0) = -5
-5 = 0 + 0 +C => C = -5
V(t) = t^2 + 4t - 5
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Total distance d traveled.. again set V = 0
t^2 + 4t - 5 = 0, t=-5, t=1
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So split the integral at 1 since -5 is not in the interval..
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Yes, part one is correct.
and lmaooooooooooo!!! got an urgent call from the derivative hahahaha

Int (t^2 + 4t - 5,t,0,1) = -8/3
Int (t^2 + 4t - 5,t,1,3) = 44/3
OpenStudy (anonymous):
take abs values and add:
(44+8)/3 = 52/3 = 17.333
OpenStudy (anonymous):
was that right?
OpenStudy (zarkon):
yes
