i got \[\sqrt{260}\]

if u label the line in the middle y and the last unlabeled line z then u can form 3 equations and sole from there middle line:y other leg of big triangle:z y^2+10^2=x^2 16^2+y^2=z^2 x^2+z^2=26^2 so solve for y^2 in the second equation: y^2=z^2-16^2 substitute back into first equation z^2-16^2+10^2=x^2 solve for z^2 in third equation z^2=26^2-x^2 and put into the equation i just made above 26^2-x^2-16^2+10^2=x^2 so: 2x^2=26^2-16^2+10^2 after u finish solving u get x=sqrt(260)

Don't know what I was thinking, but I am getting sqrt{260} as well
