A NASA satellite showed that in 2003 the ozone hole was much larger than it was in 2002. The 2003 hole measured 1.04 x in diameter, while the diameter of the 2002 hole was 6.9 x Calculate the difference in size between the two holes in square meters
im guessing this is a growth rate quesiton.... and 'similar' in solving to population growth, or compound interest solving?
I am not sure it for a chemistry class
sometimes things you learn in maths overlaps with other subjects. is this question on its own, or do you have other ones like it that you've already solved?
own it own
ok well the best i can do is give you one possible method to solve this, but it might (as with everything) be wrong
ok I am willing to try anything it driving me mad
final amount = initial (1+rate)^time 6.9=1.04(1+k)^1
thank you
can you get the k out? cause i dont want to :P
but i will if i have to for you.
