what would be the effect of my mass percent recovery of cu if i used all of my naoh solution in part 2 and the litmus paper never turned blue ?

mass weighing paper and cu i got  .814    mass of weighing paper, g i got .283 mass of cu recovered is 1.285

i dont know the mass percent of cu recovered       i think is subtracting something from there but i have no idea
