76x + 23x = 33

One way we can do this is to group like terms (e.g. 76x and 23x) Once we add them together it will become 100x. Now, we must isolate the variable x. So, we divide both sides (or multiply by inverse of 100=1/100) to get 33/100.
Im sorry, 99x=33 so it would be 33/99 :)
Which reduces to 1/3
