Can someone please help me figure this radical expression out? 2√20x+3√5x

OpenStudy (katrinakaif):

Simpilify square root 20x which is 2 * 2 * 5 * x Take out both 2's from the radical and mulitply it with the 2 out side the radical meaning: 2 sqaure root 2 * 2 * 5 * x = 2 * 2 sqaure root 5x gives us 4 sqaure root 5x + 3 sqaure root 5x Since the expression in the RADICAL are both the same, we can now add the coefficents in front of it meaning "4" and "5" addint it gives us 7 sqaure root 5x
