first order of operation here is whats inside the parenthesis: (-4)²=(-4)(-4)=16 7(16)-3(-2)2 next order of operation would be multiplication: (112)-(-12) last order of ops is add and sub: 112+12=124

i am assuming that it was what i wrote and not \[7\times (-4)^2-3\times (-2)\times 2\] which is what you actually wrote up top, i.e. i am assuming you made a typo. i could be wrong
