Can somebody explain how to do 9pi/pi squared? Do I have to have a scientific calculator for this?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

(9pi/pi)^2 perhaps?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it would just be 9/pi?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the pis cancel (go to 1) and you get 9^2 = 81

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I thought squared meant the number was multiplied by itself, not brought to the second power..

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the second power IS squared

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats the same thing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh, wait, I guess it is the same thing..

OpenStudy (anonymous):
