a particle starts from rest with constant acceleration. in 10 seconds it reaches a velocity of 15 ms^-1 what is the acceleration of the particle??? and what is the distance it would have travelled in that 10 seconds? thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

acceleration is velocity over time is the velocity is 15 and the time is 10 the 15/10=1.5m/s^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then you can use the distance formula d=vit+1/2at^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 75m

thansk :)
