Using Elimination to solve y+x=3 -y+3x=1 Anyone want to solve it using the elimination method?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just add them together

OpenStudy (anonymous):

add both equations to eliminate y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4x=4 so x=1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then y=2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x= 1 y =2
