my directions are "find each unit rate" and my problem is "60 for 8 h" .....some one help me i'm clueless o.O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A unit rate is a rate with a denominator of 1. A rate is just a comparison or ratio of two quantities with different units. For example, 50 miles per hour is a ratio of miles to hours. It is a unit rate because it is per one hour. So 60 for 8 h means you need to write the ratio 60:8 and then simplify it so that the second number is 1.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A unit rate is the amount of a quantity in 1 of it's base unit. 60/8 is 7.5, so you get 7.5units per hour.
