what would happen if the ribosome read the genetic message in a nonoverlapping manner except for the fact that there might be codons without a third base or single codons without the last two bases for a complete triplet
It would just be ignored by the rRNA and only completed pairs of codons pair to the string of mRNA. If they do somehow come together to form something then it'd be genetic defect.
I ROGER BUT IF PIECES OF THE CODONS ARE WASTED, WOULDNT THAT INHIBIT THE PRODUCTION OF THAT PARTICULAR PROTEIN DUE TO IMCOMPLETE PAIRINGS BETWEEN THE ANTICODON AND CODON. CONSEQUENTLY INCOMPLETE AMINO ACIDS...AND WOULDNT A PROTEIN DIFFERENT FRM THE EXPECTED BE SYNTHESIZED DUE TO THE EVIDENT FACT THAT THE RIBOSME IS READING IN A NONOVERLAPPING MANNER? OR THEN AGAIN IS THIS WHERE THE WOBBLE EFFECT COMES INTO PLAY?
